Complex businesses need clear brands. Getting there shouldn't be complicated.
I'm Matt Ganser, a brand designer based in Glen Ellyn, Illinois. I help B2B companies and civic organizations become clear, consistent, and credible, using the process of a large agency at the scale of one experienced designer.
Is this you? Let’s solve it.
"We’re constantly explaining what we do."
"People are confused by our offering."
“We look like amateurs.”
"Our sales team makes materials that look like a different company."
Background
I've spent my career in brand design, working at agencies of every size and running my own small studio with partners. Along the way I've developed brands for organizations of all sizes, including Google, GE, and Mack Trucks, among many others.
Working alongside strategists, writers, and designers, I learned what makes the big-agency model work. I've distilled it into a process one experienced designer can lead, so smaller organizations get the same thinking at a scale they can afford.
How I work
I dig into the details and focus on what makes you unique. You'll see the work take shape, understand the thinking behind it, and have a voice in the decisions that move it forward.
That's the thinking behind Clear Brand: five steps (Clarify, Locate, Explore, Assemble, Release), about ten weeks, and a clear way of working together. No unnecessary meetings, no mystery about what's happening, and no surprises at the finish line. View Clear Brand
