Indianapolis Public Library

The Indianapolis Public Library faced a pivotal moment with an underwhelming logo burdened by clichéd visual tropes.
Our challenge was to reposition it as the community jewel it truly is. Our solution? Boldly simplifying it to just “The Library”—a name that commands respect and familiarity.

We introduced a dynamic, color-varied logo system, allowing seamless adaptation to diverse community engagements. This flexible identity helped reframe the institution as a modern, accessible resource, more closely aligned with its vital role in the community.

Camp Donut

When I’m done with design, I’m going to sell donuts. No, seriously—I’m going to sell donuts. Or, sell this brand to someone who wants to sell donuts. All I know is I’m going to be involved with donuts. It’s nature’s most perfect food, after all. I’ve created this brand as a way to celebrate the camaraderie and fond memories we have from summer camp, all with a side of fried dough.

Know someone looking to start a franchise brand? Send them my way.

Distant Replays

This retro sports store was the first brand to focus entirely on sports gear from the past. They sold jerseys, hats, plaques, and memorabilia of sports heroes from yesteryear. The identity needed to immediately convey a connection to classic sports moment and highlights from long ago. It wasn’t enough for this brand to talk about memories—it had to visually embody the essence of yesterday.

MCL Restaurant & Bakery

MCL was at a crossroads, looking to modernize and appeal to a new generation of customers. For many, their only experience with the brand—and cafeteria-style dining—felt outdated. We embraced their scratch-made ethos and commitment to quality by repositioning them as what they truly are: a restaurant and bakery.
